I can’t stop thinking about how the party turned so dangerous that night. It must have been terrifying for everyone there. I read that things got tense with the crowd when the police arrived. It's so hard to imagine attending a gathering meant for fun and socializing, and it ending in such a tragic way. I really hope the investigation uncovers what led to this violence and that the community can find a way to heal. Sending love and strength to the families of Dequante and Damonye during this incredibly difficult time. It’s a reminder of how important it is to communicate and work together to prevent violence in our communities.
