Has anyone heard more about this Hunting Run Reservoir shooting? I just heard from a friend who's really shaken up by the whole thing, and my heart goes out to Christian Whalen's family and friends. From what I gather, Christian was just trying to stop a bad situation from escalating when he was shot. I've been following the updates, but it's left me with so many questions. Why was there even a gun at a bonfire? Teen gatherings should be fun, not end in tragedy. If anyone hears more about safety measures being put in place for these spontaneous meet-ups, I'd love to know. It's terrifying to think about how quickly things spiraled out of control. Hoping the investigation gets all the answers needed soon. Stay safe out there, everyone.
