I've been thinking a lot about the candlelight vigil held for William Goodman Jr. and Demonte Tillery. It must have been both comforting and incredibly difficult for the families and friends who gathered to honor their loved ones. From everything I've read, it seems like Goodman was a pillar of his community, not just running successful local businesses but also touching so many lives in a positive way. It's unimaginable what his family, especially his kids, must be going through right now. The fact that both he and Tillery were fathers just adds another layer of tragedy to this senseless act of violence.
I can't help but wonder about the impact on their children, growing up without their fathers. It's stories like these that really hit home how far-reaching the consequences of violence are. I'm hopeful that law enforcement will find those responsible so these families can find some semblance of peace. If anyone in the community has any information, even if it seems insignificant, it could be crucial in helping bring closure to the families. Let's make sure we support them in any way we can, whether that's through standing together against violence or providing any information that could help the investigation.
I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on the children involved. Eleven kids now have to grow up without their fathers because of this senseless violence. It's devastating to think about how their lives have been changed forever. The vigil for Goodman and Tillery was powerful, and the fact that the community came together to support the victims' families gives me some hope that these families won't be facing this alone. I really hope that someone who knows something will step up and provide the police with the information they need. Justice needs to be served not only for William and Demonte but also for their kids who deserve answers and some form of peace. My heart goes out to everyone affected, and I’m holding onto hope for a resolution soon.
