I've been following the tragic events in Roanoke County, and something that's really weighing on my mind is the children in the community. With the schools being placed in secure mode during the initial investigation, I can't help but think about how this impacts the young ones. It's so unsettling to imagine kids having to process something of this magnitude so close to home.
My heart truly goes out to the families and friends of Amanda Robertson and Robert Jackson, and I also hope the community can rally around the schools to provide the necessary support for the students.
