I’ve been thinking a lot about the neighbors who must have witnessed the aftermath of that tragedy on Hale Avenue. It must be terrible to have something so shocking and tragic happen right next door. I wonder if they had any inkling before that evening that anything was amiss with Joshua Dickson and Wilma Jean Jones. I can’t imagine the trauma and unease this must have caused—it's not something you easily forget. My heart goes out to them and, of course, to Joshua’s family and friends who are left to cope with his sudden loss. It feels like this case has raised so many questions and left a hole in the community. If anyone from the area has any insights or thoughts on how the community is processing everything, I’d be interested to hear.
