I've been thinking a lot about Justin Hilliard's case, and something that really sticks with me is how he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It’s truly unsettling to know that the intended target wasn't even him. This aspect of gun violence is so random and terrifying, and I can't imagine how his family must feel knowing that Justin was just an innocent bystander. It's a chilling reminder of how fragile life can be, and how any of us could be caught in the crossfire of something senseless and violent. My heart goes out to everyone who loved him. It's important for all of us to keep sharing these stories, not just for justice, but to push for change against gun violence.
