Has anyone dug into the background of the intersection at Reynolds and East 40th Street where Randy Hooks was killed? It's really disturbing to think about such a violent act happening on Christmas Day. I drove by there last year, and it's usually a pretty busy area, especially around the holidays. I'm wondering if this location has been a hotspot for any other incidents or if this was just a tragic anomaly. My thoughts are with Randy's family and the woman who got caught up in this nightmare. It's just so incredibly sad. Would love to hear if anyone has more context about the spot itself or knows how the community has been reacting to this unimaginable loss.
