Did anyone else catch the news about the arrest of Jiyion Sytavious Mattison and Teondez Draquandais Crocker? It's such a relief for many who were devastated by Droc's tragic death. It's hard to imagine the pain his family, especially his little boy Zay'Shawn, must be going through. I know the road to justice can be long and complicated, but let's hope this is a step in the right direction. Droc's life was taken way too soon, and I hope his family finds some peace knowing the investigation is progressing. Have any of you heard updates on how the community is rallying around his family lately? It’s good to hear they received a lot of support at the service, but I hope it continues for them. They’ll need it now more than ever.

Just thinking about young Zay'Shawn and what he must be going through after losing his father, Droc, in such a tragic way. I can't even begin to imagine how hard this must be for a child so young. It seems like Derrick was well-loved by his family and the community, and it's just awful that this kind of violence took him away. I read about the arrests made, and while I hope justice is served, nothing will replace the loss for his family. Sending thoughts and strength to his grandmother, Dell McDonald, who has already faced the loss of her son and now her grandson. Such a difficult journey for this family, and I hope they find some support and peace in these trying times.
