I'm really moved by the community coming together to remember TyQuirez "TQ" Sims. It's such a tragedy to lose someone so young to senseless violence. Living near Spartanburg myself, I often pass College Pointe Apartments, and it hits differently knowing what happened there. I can't imagine what TQ's family is going through, but it's clear he was loved by many. Seeing his name now part of the National Gun Violence Memorial is a stark reminder of how often this happens in our country. I hope this opens more eyes to the change we desperately need. Sending strength and love to everyone affected.

Hey everyone, I've been following the case of TyQuirez Rashad Sims and wanted to discuss something that's been on my mind. It's difficult to grasp how a seemingly ordinary place like College Pointe Apartments could become the scene of such a tragic incident. Have any of you been around that area? I wonder if there are any common concerns about safety among the residents or if this came as a complete surprise. It's unsettling to think about how close it is to the University of South Carolina Upstate campus, where students are just going about their daily lives. My heart goes out to TQ's family and friends, and I hope the community can come together to support them during this incredibly tough time. We should keep discussing ways to make our neighborhoods safer and prevent such tragedies in the future. If anyone has more insights or thoughts on how this has impacted the local community, I'd love to hear them.
