I've been following Brooke's case and can't stop thinking about the impact this has on her friends and family. I came across a post from one of her college friends who shared a story about how Brooke always brought homemade cookies to their study group. It's such a simple gesture, but it just shows how she cared about those around her and brought a little bit of joy to their hectic student lives. I can't imagine the pain her loved ones are going through right now. It seems Brooke had so much potential and kindness to offer this world. I hope her family and friends find some comfort in the memories and stories that keep coming in about the amazing person she was. It's clear she touched many lives.
