Every time I think about what happened to Bethanylynn Shaw, I can’t help but reflect on the vulnerability of children in such horrific situations. Her little ones will forever carry the weight of this tragedy. It breaks my heart to think about their futures and how they'll process this as they grow up. As a community, we need to ensure these children receive all the love and support they need during this incredibly difficult time. So many families are touched by senseless acts like these, and it reinforces the importance of coming together to protect those who are most vulnerable. If anyone has experience with helping children through trauma, are there organizations or resources in Darlington that can provide ongoing support for them? My thoughts and prayers are with Bethany’s family, especially her little ones who have lost so much.
