Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Garrett White’s tragic death, and I’ve been thinking about the community’s reaction to safety concerns following the incident. It’s so incredibly sad how something like this can shake an entire community to its core. I grew up not too far from Seneca, and I remember it being a pretty tight-knit place. There’s been a lot of talks recently about increasing security measures in residential complexes like the one at Seneca Gardens. To those who live nearby or in similar areas, have you noticed any changes or discussions about upping security where you live? I can’t imagine the pain Garrett’s parents, siblings, and friends are going through, but I hope this awful event can at least lead to changes that might prevent something like this from happening again. It’s a stark reminder for all of us: cherish your community, look out for one another, and push for safety improvements when needed. Let’s keep Garrett’s family in our thoughts as they navigate through this unimaginable time.
