I’ve been following the case of Deontay Jay Lynch, and it's just so tragic what happened to him. One thing that stands out to me is the heartbreaking potential behind his role as a mentor and coach, especially for his daughter’s basketball team. It seems like he was not only dedicated to his professional life but also invested deeply in the lives of young people around him. The idea that he might have been trying to minister or guide the young suspects before the tragic incident just adds a layer of complexity. Was there some connection between them that stretched beyond mere acquaintance? Some friends think he could've been trying to offer guidance based on his faith. If true, it’s distressing to think that his good intentions may have played any part in luring him into a dangerous situation. Does anyone have insight into how friends or basketball team members have been reacting to the news? Sending thoughts to DJ's family and especially to those young lives he touched on and off the basketball court.
