I can't shake the chilling effect this case has had on our community. Frankie's loss has touched so many of us in Beaufort deeply, and it’s been felt far and wide. I was just thinking about how community organizations have really stepped up for his family — offering everything from meals to emotional support. It’s heartwarming to see people coming together in ways big and small to lend a hand.
While the suspect is in custody, let’s not allow this legal process to make us forget the importance of supporting one another. If there’s any silver lining, it's seeing the community rallying together, united to seek justice. During such dark times, the light comes from those around us, holding each other up. Please, if anyone knows more, come forward. Let’s ensure justice is served for Frankie’s sake.

I've been following the tragic case of little Frankie Martin Washington and I'm just so moved by how the Beaufort community has rallied around his family. It's amazing to see people coming together to support them with donations and memorial events. This kind of unity is just what Frankie's family needs right now.
A friend of mine attended one of the candlelight vigils held in his honor and said it was a beautiful but emotional evening. The turnout was incredible, with people of all ages coming together to show their support. You could really feel the weight of the community's grief, but also the strength in their solidarity. I just wanted to remind everyone that, while the legal proceedings are taking place, keeping the family in our thoughts and doing what we can to support them really matters.
