I'm still so troubled by what happened to Shanna Smith. It's unbelievably tragic to think how such an innocent act of kindness—driving a co-worker home—led to this senseless loss. I can't imagine the pain her family must be going through, knowing that Shanna was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. The randomness and brutality of her death are just beyond comprehension. It's scary and sad how easily mistaken identity can escalate into such violence. Sending thoughts to everyone who knew and loved her.
