Did anyone else see the footage from the vigil held in Andre's memory? It's clear that he was loved and cherished by his family and friends. It breaks my heart to think of the pain his parents, Gabriel and Adrien, are going through. Seeing the students from his high school coming together to honor him was incredibly moving. It's just so tragic to see such young lives entangled in these situations. I hope his family finds some comfort in the support from the community. Also, I can't stop thinking about the effects on the 16-year-old too, it must be overwhelming for them. We really need a conversation on how to prevent these tragedies. I'm really struggling to wrap my head around the events that led to Dre's tragic end. It just seems so surreal that such a young life was cut short over this.
