Has anyone else been thinking about how eerily quiet the neighborhood must have been that morning before the gunshots? Rustcraft Drive is usually pretty peaceful, from what I’ve heard. It's unsettling to imagine that something so tragic could happen in a place people call home. My heart goes out to Emily Norris and her boys. Losing Cody, someone who was so involved in the local community via Greer Golf, is just unfathomable. It’s sad that anyone would disrupt this family's life so violently. I hope they find some comfort in the support that's pouring in from the community, through the GoFundMe or any other means. It's essential we stick together as a community during times like these. If anyone has more info or updates from the Sheriff on the investigation, please share.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the discussion about the tragic incident on Rustcraft Drive, and my thoughts are with Cody Norris’s family during this incredibly challenging time. I wanted to talk about a little detail that seems to have gone unnoticed in some of the conversations here. Cody had such a passion for disc golf, which strikes a chord for a lot of us who find solace in outdoor activities. It's hard to imagine that he won't be there for family outings or teaching his sons the game he loved. It adds another layer of sadness when you think about how those special moments and shared hobbies will be missed. Also, the fact that Cody was involved in maintaining the beauty of Greer Golf kind of tells you a lot about his character. Taking care of the grounds means you're someone who appreciates detail, calm, and perhaps creating a space for others to enjoy themselves. It seems so at odds with the violence that took him from his loved ones. If anyone else has memories or insights about Cody, I think it’d be nice to share them here. I hope we can keep this community supportive for Cody’s family and keep his memory alive. Stay safe out there, everyone.
