Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about Steven Nichols since the tragic event at that gas station in Jackson. It's tough seeing a community lose such a hardworking and dedicated person. I read he was not just about business, but also a loving father trying to provide a good life for his family. It breaks my heart to think that his kids will grow up without their dad. What stood out to me was how he managed to turn his skills into his own business. That’s no small feat, especially in today’s world. It makes you wonder what more he could have accomplished if he had more time. I’m hoping that someone out there who knows something will step forward. It's important that his family finds some peace and that justice is served for both Steven and Christopher. If anyone here has heard updates or knows anything that could help in the investigation, please share. Let’s keep Steven and Christopher’s families in our thoughts and do what we can to support them through this unimaginable time. Stay safe, everyone.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the role of community businesses in bringing people together, and how Steven Nichols had built his own life around that idea with his "Pitt-Stop" vehicle service. I didn’t know Steven personally, but from what I've heard and read, he was really dedicated to his work and to the people he served. He took something as simple as car repairs and turned it into a way to connect with folks in Jackson. Losing someone like that has such a ripple effect. He was more than just a hardworking entrepreneur; he was a father, a brother, a part of this community. It’s devastating to think that such a vibrant contributor to the community could be abruptly taken away by senseless violence. I sincerely hope that those involved are caught soon, not only for justice for Steven and Christopher Oliver but to help restore some sense of safety and peace for their families and for all of us here in Jackson. For anyone familiar with Steven or who may have interacted with his business, let’s keep sharing his story and support his family in any way we can. His legacy shouldn’t just end like this. It's also a call to action for us all to take part in keeping our community safer and helping in whatever way possible to prevent something like this from happening again.

Just thinking about how senseless it is that two families are dealing with such terrible losses. Steven Nichols seemed to have been such a hardworking guy, balancing his roles as a pharmacy tech and his own business. I've read how much he loved his work at "Pitt-Stop" and was proud of what he built. It's just gut-wrenching to think about how his dedication and dreams were just abruptly ended. I hope people who know anything about what happened at that Exxon station come forward soon. It's maddening to think those responsible are still out there. My thoughts are definitely with their families, hoping they get the answers they need soon.
