Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Demandril "Lil Money" Jackson and I keep thinking about something that doesn’t get much attention: the symbolic importance of the shooting location. Smith Street, or "Bankroll Ave," has now been the backdrop of two violent crimes involving people associated with the Atlanta music scene. It's chilling how this area seems to represent both the rise and fall of these promising young talents. I can only imagine how unsettling it must be for the local community to see their streets marred by such violence. It must feel like a heavy shadow hanging over a place that should instead be a nurturing ground for creativity and music. RIP Lil Money. I hope we get justice for him and peace for those still affected by this tragedy. Anyone else feel like this spot has too much history to ignore?
