I’ve been following the case and what really gets me is the resilience of Gabriel's family. It must be incredibly difficult to have lost someone so young in such a horrific way, and to then have to wait 19 months for any answers. I can't imagine the pain and uncertainty they’ve endured. Even with the arrest of Jordan Selvage, their ordeal is far from over. The justice system can be such a long and exhausting road. I hope they have a strong support system to help them through this incredibly challenging time. It’s a harsh reminder of the violence that has touched the lives of many in Jackson, and it's time we all come together to support the affected families and work towards ending such needless tragedies.
