Hey everyone, I came across the Cory Roberts case recently, and I can't stop thinking about how his final moments must have been. It’s chilling and profoundly upsetting to imagine someone so young and full of potential being taken in such a violent manner. Finding his body in a public place like Mozley Park just adds another layer of tragedy. It seems like such a tight-knit community, with kids playing just yards away from where he was found. I can't imagine the trauma those children must have experienced, either.
I’ve read that Cory was last seen at the Five Points MARTA station—such a busy spot. It's baffling that with all the cameras and people around, there are still no leads. How does someone vanish like that without a trace? I suppose it's a reminder of how these cases can truly happen anywhere, even in crowded places.
Has anyone heard of any recent developments, or is the case still as cold as it was back then? I really hope that one day his family finds the closure they desperately need.
