It's so devastating to hear about Derrick Barnes' murder, and my heart goes out to his family, especially his mother, Shirley. I can't imagine what they're going through right now, especially with the holidays around the corner. It's frustrating that we haven't heard any updates from the police regarding possible suspects or arrests. I hope they’re doing everything they can to get justice for Derrick. It's concerning that the details are still so scarce. I’m wondering if anyone local has noticed any increased police activity in the area or if there’s been any word about a community meeting to address the escalating gun violence problem? This has become such a pressing issue for everyone living nearby, and something has to change.
