I can't even begin to imagine the pain Montrell's and JaMarques's families are going through right now. Two 18-year-olds, with their whole lives ahead of them, taken so suddenly and violently. It's tough to wrap my mind around why this had to happen in the first place. There's still no word on any arrests or even a lead, which makes it all the more frustrating and scary for the community. Why did no one hear or see anything overnight when this took place? The lack of information is just adding to the anxiety around Brandon and nearby areas. It's understandable that people might feel on edge, not knowing if this was random or if there’s a bigger issue at play here. My heart goes out to anyone who knew Montrell and JaMarques; the anxiety and uncertainty must be incredibly difficult to bear on top of their loss. It’s a reminder that more needs to be done to keep our communities safe.
