I’ve been following the Willie Harris case since it first happened, and it's still so unsettling to think about how this remains unsolved. I was actually driving on Old National Highway the other day, and it made me think about how critical community awareness is in cases like this. It's like, someone out there definitely knows something about what happened on January 2, 2019.
You’d think an apartment complex like Biscayne Apartments would have some kind of surveillance footage or at least some witnesses. It’s such a busy area! I know there's often a lot of traffic around there, especially at that time of year post-holidays. Maybe someone saw something unusual and didn’t realize how important it was at the time?
If anyone has any small detail or memory from that day, it could really impact the investigation. I really hope Willie’s family gets the closure they deserve. It’s just so sad thinking about how they’ve had to go this long without answers. Please, if you know anything, reach out. Even the smallest piece of the puzzle could be significant.
Did anyone else read about the fundraisers that Harris' family organized? It's just so inspiring to see a community come together like that, even amidst such an overwhelming tragedy. I can't help but think about how beloved Willie must have been by those around him. It pains me to see his family having to go through this without knowing what happened. If anyone has information, it's so important to step up and help them find some peace. I really hope that the authorities get the tips they need and that justice is served.
