I can't stop thinking about the impact Te'mikal's murder must have on his family and friends. Losing someone in such a senseless way is absolutely devastating. It’s hard to comprehend how his loved ones must be feeling right now. I attended the visitation service at Greater Bethlehem Temple Church, and it was clear how deeply loved he was—a packed church full of people sharing memories and holding each other up through their grief. The community feels this loss deeply, and it's a reminder of the broader issue of gun violence affecting so many lives here. I sincerely hope that we see some real change soon. It’s clear that the community, along with law enforcement, has to come together to find a way to address this before we lose more of our young people. On another note, if anyone in the community has any information, no matter how small it seems, please consider reaching out to the authorities. It could make all the difference in finding justice for Te'mikal and bringing some measure of peace to his loved ones.
