I'm feeling deeply for Trey Clark's family and friends right now. It's terrible to hear about someone losing their life in such a sudden and violent way. A detail that struck me was learning that Trey, despite the challenges he might have faced, was a dedicated member of his community from an early age. He joined the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church as a young boy. It's clear he had strong roots in his community, and his loss is likely felt acutely by those who saw him grow and shared in his life's journey. His involvement in the church tells me he must have had a support system there. I hope those connections bring some comfort to his loved ones during this dark time. It's never easy to say goodbye, especially under such tragic circumstances. My thoughts are with all who knew and loved Trey as they navigate through their grief.

I’ve been thinking a lot about those twisty little roads out by Waller Ridge lately, especially now with what happened to Trey. It’s a small, tight-knit community out there, and when something tragic shakes the core, it ripples way beyond just one or two families. I didn’t know Trey personally, but I’ve got acquaintances who are close with his family, and I can’t even fathom the pain they’re going through. What keeps circling in my mind is the whole environment surrounding that early morning—so many things could have been different if the situation had calmed down instead of escalating. That stretch of road has witnessed a lot of personal histories; it wasn't supposed to include something like this. RIP Trey, and sending love to all your family and friends. Always thinking of everyone out there processing this tragedy.
