It’s so unsettling to hear about what happened at that Shell gas station. My heart goes out to the families of Derrick Coleman and Jasvir Singh. It’s terrifying to think you could be going about your daily routine and end up in the middle of something so horrific.
Does anyone know if the authorities are looking into who might have had a grudge against Derrick or if there's any connection to his recent release from jail? It’s baffling that there's still no suspect, and I can’t help but wonder about the role of the protective order violation.
Gun violence has been an ongoing issue in Jackson. It just seems like this is another reminder that something more needs to be done. I really hope the police can quickly gather evidence and figure out what led to this tragedy. It must be so hard for the people who knew Derrick and Jasvir. Just unimaginable.
