Hey everyone,
I’ve been diving deep into the details surrounding Dorothy Thomas's tragic murder in 1957, and something that stands out to me is the role the deliveryman played in discovering her body. It must've been incredibly traumatic for him to walk into such a horrific scene, not to mention the responsibility of handling that overwhelming situation afterward. I wonder how thoroughly he was questioned or if any evidence was inadvertently compromised during those initial moments. Back then, crime scene protocols were not as advanced as today, and I can't help but think about what could have been lost or overlooked. Considering the gruesome nature of this attack, it seems like someone had enough familiarity with the store's layout, given that Dorothy was dragged all the way to the back. Was there any more done to explore the deliveryman's perspective, or have any latent prints been reevaluated with modern technology? My heart truly goes out to Dorothy's family and those who discovered her. Hopefully, ongoing interest in the case might eventually bring some closure. What do you guys think?
