I’ve been thinking a lot about the safety protocols—or lack thereof—at bars like the one where Niger McGee was tragically killed. This incident has me questioning the responsibility of establishments in ensuring the safety of their patrons. Were there any security guards present? Did they have any surveillance cameras? I know it doesn’t ultimately stop someone with bad intentions, but maybe it could deter them or help in investigations.
I can't imagine how Niger's family must be feeling, knowing that this kind of negligence might have played a part in their loss. It's just difficult to process why more isn't done to prevent such tragedies from happening in communal spaces where people go to relax and have a good time.
I'd really like to hear from anyone with insights into how security measures are typically managed in these places or even suggestions on how they can be improved to prevent future tragedies. It’s clear that the community needs to work together to make our spaces safer.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Niger Devon McGee who was killed in the Jackson bar shooting, and I wanted to touch on something that's been on my mind—security at these venues. It's such a devastating loss for his family and loved ones, and I can't help but wonder about the role security (or lack thereof) might have played that night. Were there any protocols that should've been in place that might’ve prevented this? It's concerning to think that a place meant for relaxation and joy could turn into such a nightmare. Hoping for more insights to come out about this aspect. Thoughts and prayers go out to Niger's family and everyone else affected by this senseless act. Stay safe, everyone!
Has anyone else been thinking about the safety protocols at the bar where the shooting happened? It’s disturbing to consider that Niger McGee and others might have been exposed to such danger without enough security measures in place. I can’t imagine what his family is going through, knowing all this could have been prevented. It just makes me wonder if this tragedy could lead to changes in how venues handle security in Jackson. What are everyone’s thoughts on how bars should improve their protection for patrons? It would be great if this awful incident sparked some positive change.
