I find it really intriguing that Candace decided to leave the car near Holbrook, especially considering she was supposedly on her way to a treatment center. What makes me wonder is why she walked away when her friend called out to her. Maybe something happened in the car ride that made her change her mind? Or could it be that she decided to contact someone in Holbrook instead of going directly to the center? Also, her decision to leave her belongings makes it sound like a spur-of-the-moment thing, but carrying a bag suggests she had some plan. Have any locals noticed an increase in foot traffic or unusual activity around Gillespie Park around the time Candace went missing?
