I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on Rothelio’s family and friends. I didn’t personally know Rothelio, but from what I've read, he was loved by many and his loss leaves a huge void in the community. It's incredibly sad to see a life cut short by such senseless violence. What really hits hard is how these incidents seem to be becoming more common in Yazoo City. It's alarming to see how gun violence is affecting our communities, and I really hope there can be some meaningful actions taken to address this issue. Too many families are feeling the pain and loss that come with these violent acts. I also feel for Zachery Carter's family. If he’s indeed responsible, it’s heartbreaking to think about two lives forever changed in that moment of anger. Violence isn’t the solution and it’s distressing that it’s come to this. Rothelio deserves justice, and his family deserves peace. My thoughts are with them during this painful time. Let’s hope his case doesn't fade into the background like so many others.
