Has anyone else been following the recent developments in the 1972 Hernando County Jane Doe case, now identified as Peggy Shelton? My heart goes out to Peggy's family and friends who have finally gotten some answers after all these years. I've been particularly curious about that white Ford Falcon. What do we think the connection might be there? Given that only two people returned from the woods where her body was found, it seems like an angle that investigators would still be interested in, even after all this time. The fact that she was seen with those individuals just days before her murder is chilling. It's puzzling what their intentions were and why they would leave her behind. Has anyone heard any updates on whether there’s new information about who those individuals could be or any leads that have surfaced since she was identified? It would be incredible if someone finally came forward after all these years and brought more clarity to this tragic story. Sending all the love and support to Peggy's family as they navigate these new revelations.

It's both deeply saddening and, in a way, a relief to finally know Peggy Shelton’s identity after all these years. I can't stop thinking about the bedspread she was found in—it’s so personal, almost like it tells a story of its own. Who did it belong to? Was it hers, or did someone else use it to cover her? For her family, that bedspread must be a haunting reminder. It's just heartbreaking to think that after all these years, they're finally getting answers but still lack the whole story. If anyone has any theories or insights about this, especially about the people in that white Ford Falcon, it could really help paint a fuller picture of what happened to Peggy in her last moments. Hoping for justice and some peace for her loved ones.

I recently came across the details surrounding Peggy Shelton's case, and my heart goes out to her family, who have waited decades for answers. One thing that struck me while reading about this tragic case was the use of isotope analysis to determine that Peggy had been living in Florida for several years before her death. I find it fascinating how forensic science can reveal bits of someone's life story, down to where they may have lived. This discovery makes me wonder if anyone in the local community might have seen her or interacted with her in the time leading up to her disappearance in 1972. It would be great if people who lived in the area during that period could come forward with any memories, however small, that could provide more context about her life. The fact she was nicknamed "Edna" and had been referred to as a Jane Doe for so long is a somber reminder of how someone can be lost among us for decades. It's interesting to consider if there's a connection between those three individuals seen with the vintage Ford Falcon and Peggy’s presence in that area before her tragic demise. I’m hopeful that new information will surface, and perhaps the identifying of "Edna" as Peggy Shelton is just the beginning of unraveling the true narrative behind her murder.
