I’ve been following the discussion around the tragic event in Picayune, and my thoughts keep returning to the hospital staff who were there when it all unfolded. I can't even imagine the emotional toll this took on them, seeing two victims brought in under such shocking circumstances. I hope they’re receiving the support they need as they process this trauma. It's easy to forget the effect these situations have on first responders and hospital workers who are often left to carry the emotional weight while remaining professional. Sending strength and support to everyone involved.
