I can't stop thinking about the impact that Eckert's death has had on the Beaverton Lakeside Estates community. I’ve been reading through all the updates since the incident and it’s apparent how deeply people are affected by this tragedy. The fact that many residents are still fearful makes me wonder about the long-term effects such violent events have, not just on direct families, but on neighborhoods as a whole. Community connections are everything, and to see them shaken to the core is unsettling. I hope there are ongoing efforts to support those who knew Scott and that this brings people together in a way to foster healing. Anyone in the community have insights on how neighbors are doing now?
