On the night of December 13, 2017, 20-year-old Des'Juan Johnson was fatally shot in southeast Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred around 10:47 p.m. when Columbus Police officers responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Frebis Avenue and Alum Creek Drive. Upon arrival, officers found Johnson lying on the side of the road with a gunshot wound. He was subsequently transported to Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly afterward.
