Did anyone else catch the detail about the rented cleaning equipment and supplies? It’s hard not to feel a pit in my stomach thinking about what James’ family must have gone through, knowing his last moments were marked by such betrayal. I can’t imagine discovering that a person you trusted enough to live with might have had such sinister intentions.
The fact that Renfoe even had a friend help him adds a whole other layer of deceit and darkness to this incident. Darius Glenn’s involvement, whether he was coerced or not, makes me wonder how people can go from being friends to accomplices in such an awful act.
My heart goes out to all involved in searching for James and bringing these actions to light. Let’s hope justice serves its purpose, and James’ family finds some semblance of peace moving forward.
Did anyone catch the news about how they found James Wilkins' body in Oscoda Township? It must be absolutely devastating for his family and friends to finally get that confirmation. I can only imagine how hard these past months have been for them, holding onto hope while fearing the worst. Finding his body in such a remote and overgrown area just adds another layer of tragedy to this whole situation.
I've been following the case, and it still baffles me that a roommate, someone who shares a living space, could be involved in something so horrific. The details about Donald Renfoe renting cleaning supplies and trying to cover up the crime are just chilling. It's a stark reminder of how we can never fully know the people we live with.
My heart goes out to James’ loved ones. I hope the ongoing investigation and legal proceedings bring them some measure of justice and peace. I'm grateful for the diligence of the officers and the dog team in bringing this part of the case to a close. Let's keep discussing and sharing any updates as they come.
Has anyone heard more details about how the Warren Police zeroed in on Donald Renfoe so quickly? It just seems like they had a solid lead from the jump with him being named a person of interest almost immediately. My heart goes out to James Wilkins’ family. It’s unimaginable to be left in the dark for so long only to discover this tragic outcome. The police did a commendable job locating him eventually, but I’m wondering if there were other clues or tips early on that pointed them toward Renfoe? Part of solving cases is understanding how investigators connect the dots—any insights anyone might have on this process would be enlightening.
