I’ve been following Suzanne Powell’s case closely and can't help but feel so deeply for her family and friends. I was thinking about the fact that this happened on a routine task for her job just makes it all the more chilling. How many of us have done something similar and never thought twice? Suzanne was just doing what many of us do, and it’s terrifying that such a normal part of her shift ended in tragedy. It’s been so long since that awful night in 1979, but I'm hopeful that with advancements in forensic technology and the dedication of groups like Project: Cold Case, we will eventually learn more about what happened. Maybe someone will remember or feel compelled to come forward now after all these years. I believe there are still opportunities to solve this and bring some measure of peace to those who loved Suzanne. Does anyone know if there have been any recent developments or renewed efforts in the case?

I recently came across Suzanne Powell's case, and it's been weighing on my mind. I can't help but wonder about the jump from her workplace to the Atlantic Bank—it's a short distance, but did anyone see anything unusual that night? It's so frustrating to think that her life was cut short in such a violent way and that someone might have seen something that could be key to solving this tragedy. It's uplifting to see groups like Project: Cold Case keeping Suzanne's story alive, but my heart truly goes out to her family, who've had to endure this mystery and sadness for so long. I hope that with today’s technology and those still committed to the case, a breakthrough can happen. If anyone local from back then has any memories, even the smallest detail, it could be significant. Justice for Suzanne is long overdue, and her family deserves answers.

Has anyone ever looked into whether there were similar robberies around Gainesville during that time? It seems like an odd coincidence if Suzanne was randomly targeted. Maybe the perpetrator had a pattern or lived nearby? It's infuriating that someone could just vanish into the crowd after committing such a cruel act. Suzanne and her family deserve answers, and I really hope more information comes to light. Anyone else have thoughts on this angle?
