Hey everyone, I've been following Edgar Lara Rios' case, and something that's been on my mind is the role of local businesses in the area. Del Rio isn't a huge city, and I'm wondering if any shops or establishments near where Edgar was last seen have been approached for security footage or if any employees noticed anything unusual around October 15, 2021. Sometimes, small details captured by surveillance cameras can be incredibly valuable, but they might not always make it into the public updates. If anyone has heard anything through the grapevine about local businesses getting involved, it would be really helpful to know. Edgar's loved ones deserve answers, and any little detail could be the key to finding him. Stay vigilant, everyone.

I came across Edgar Lara Rios's case while browsing the Texas Department of Public Safety's Missing Persons Bulletin, and something struck me about how silent the media has been about it. I mean, it's been two years, and apart from the initial reports, there seems to be a lack of coverage. Del Rio isn't that big, so I'd think there would be more local interest or even updates from the community or law enforcement. Was there another major event happening at the time of his disappearance that might have overshadowed his case? It's just odd to me how some cases get national attention while others barely make a blip. Wondering if anyone has insight into local media there or any reasons why this might be the case?
