Has anyone else noticed the trends around violence increasing in cities like Kalamazoo? It hurts to see the community facing such turmoil. Kunta Tavarius Davis, an individual whose life was tragically cut short, deserved more from society. It's important we not just focus on the crime itself, but also look deeper into what's causing this rise in violence. Why are communities like ours struggling with these issues? There’s so much potential for good here. If only people would come together and speak up about what they’ve seen or heard. It makes you wonder if more community engagement or preventative measures could help us begin to see a decrease in these statistics. My thoughts are with Kunta's friends and family. I hope they find solace in the support of their community and see justice served.
