I've been thinking a lot about the circumstances surrounding Jose Edgardo Soto's case and how puzzling it must be for his loved ones. It got me wondering about the area where his body was found. A rock pit pond in Miami seems like an unusual location for such a tragic discovery. Why there? Was it chosen because it was remote and hard to find, or could it have had some significance related to the crime itself?
I've read that the early '80s in Miami had its fair share of challenges with crime rates soaring, so it's sad but not entirely surprising that someone could vanish without a trace for days. I'm curious if anyone else has thoughts on whether this specific location could provide any clues. Maybe someone local to the area from back then might remember something, anything, that could point investigators in the right direction. Keeping Jose and his family in my thoughts, hoping they find answers soon.
