I’ve been following the updates on the Jackson shooting, and I can't stop thinking about the poor victim, Sherrod Slayton. I read somewhere that the incident happened just after the bars were closing. It makes me wonder about the timing and how factors like that might play into these tragic events. It's so sad to think about him trying to escape and how things escalated so quickly. The little details from people in the area, like the gathering near the food truck, paint such a vivid picture of those final moments. I truly hope the authorities are able to piece together what exactly happened, not just for Sherrod’s family, but also for the entire community. No family should have to endure such horror, and it’s always painful witnessing how a close-knit neighborhood has to cope with such loss. If anyone has any new info, I hope you'll come forward. Let’s keep his memory alive by seeking out the truth. My thoughts are with his loved ones.
