I can't stop thinking about the intense manhunt that followed Deputy Butler's tragic death. It must have been incredibly stressful and emotionally taxing for the officers and agencies involved. Imagine searching for someone who just senselessly took a life, knowing they are armed and dangerous. I can't even begin to fathom how Deputy Butler’s family was feeling during those hours, waiting for news and hoping for some form of justice. It's comforting to know that law enforcement came together so effectively to find Fiddler, but it’s such a bitter resolution with lives lost on both sides. My heart goes out to the deputy's wife and children. No family should have to go through this.
