I've been reading about D'Asia Garrison's case, and my heart goes out to her family and friends. I've been thinking a lot about how that neighborhood must feel, especially with the investigation revealing that it all started from a dispute. Disputes happen everywhere, but when they escalate into violence, it just shows how unpredictable and fragile life can be. It's really disturbing to think about how quickly something can spiral out of control and lead to such devastating consequences. Does anyone know if there are any community efforts or programs in place that are focused on conflict resolution or violence prevention in East Baltimore? It seems like getting more resources and support for these kinds of initiatives would be crucial in preventing future tragedies like this one.
