I've been following Eugene "Gino" Smith's case closely, and something that's really been sticking with me is how influential he was in his community. I've read that Gino was not just a family man but also actively engaged in making his neighborhood a better place. The fact that he co-founded "Only The Foundation" to tackle violence speaks volumes about his character. It's so unfortunate when someone who works so hard for the community and openly gives back is taken in such a senseless act of violence. It just makes you wonder how such a promising life could be cut short over an employment dispute. It's a sobering reminder of how much we need more people like Gino in the world. I hope that justice is served and that it brings some peace to his loved ones. My thoughts are with his family and all those kids who looked up to him as a mentor.
