Did anyone else listen to the recent community meeting regarding the surge of violence in Baltimore? I'm still so upset about what happened to Anton Myron Gladden Jr. and how it's part of this larger pattern. It feels like the system is failing these victims and their families, not just in finding the perpetrators but in preventing these tragedies in the first place. During the meeting, a lot of people emphasized the need for grassroots community efforts alongside law enforcement to make real change. It got me thinking—what can we, as everyday residents, do to support safety in our neighborhoods? I've heard about different community programs, but they’re often so scattered. If anyone has ideas or knows of organizations that are consistently making an impact, please share. It would be great for us to rally together and push for solutions to honor Anton's memory and others like him. Sending love to his loved ones in this tough time.
