I'm heartbroken to hear about Darrell Benner's tragic death. It's truly devastating to lose someone who was just trying to do the right thing. I've been thinking about how brave he must have been to step in with just a BB gun, trying to protect his family. It speaks volumes about his character and love for his nephew. The fact that this happened right in the heart of Canton, a place so many of us feel is home and safe, is really unsettling. I'm hoping there are some leads soon, especially with all the surveillance cameras around those streets. It's hard to imagine what his wife Vicky must be going through right now, having shared a life with him for three decades. I think this situation really highlights the need for better strategies to keep our streets safe. It’s alarming to hear about the possibility of repeat offenders still out there. Hoping that those who know something come forward so his family can find some peace. Please stay safe, everyone!
