Has anyone else been reflecting on the impact that violence like this has on the community, especially when it happens so close to home? I can't imagine what William Crockett's family and friends are going through right now. It's such a senseless and tragic loss. Seeing the outpouring of grief and support for his family just goes to show how valued he was by those who knew him. It’s deeply unsettling when something like this occurs in a place where people should feel safe. I really hope people who might have seen something come forward with information. The reward might be an incentive for some, but I believe justice for William and closure for his family should be the real motivation. If anyone doesn't feel comfortable approaching the police directly, maybe they could consider submitting a tip anonymously. This community has a chance to band together right now to help prevent another senseless act, and I hope we do.
