Has anyone else thought about the sheer randomness of how Desmond Thomas crossed paths with Kenneth Smith and Lamont Scott? It's chilling to think that a seemingly ordinary day in the park could turn so tragic for someone who was just minding his own business. I've read that Desmond was known for being mild-mannered and kind-hearted, so how does someone like that become the target of such violence? This case has really made me think about the fragility of safety in our own communities. It's terrifying to consider how quickly things can escalate over misunderstandings or arguments. My heart truly goes out to Desmond's family, especially his young son, Makai. It’s devastating knowing he has to grow up without his father because of senseless violence. I'm also curious to see how Lamont Scott's trial unfolds—has anyone heard any updates on potential defense strategies for his case?
