Did anyone else hear about the recent tragedy involving Alvin Ray Henry in East Baltimore? It's just so tragic to think about how his family and friends are coping right now. I was reading up on the incident and it seems like it happened right in the heart of the community. East Biddle Street is usually bustling, even at night, so it’s unsettling to think something like this could happen there. I can't help but wonder how the ShotSpotter system worked in this situation. It's meant to detect gunshots and alert the police quickly—does anyone know how effective it generally is in Baltimore? With no arrests made yet, I hope the technology at least provides some solid leads for the investigators. It's terrible that Alvin’s life was taken so senselessly, especially in a city that's been struggling with this kind of violence for too long. My thoughts are with his loved ones during such a painful time.
