I’ve been following the heartbreaking incident at Nolte Local Park, and I just can’t stop thinking about the timing of it all. How does a 15-year-old child feel like they have no other options but to allegedly commit such a life-altering act? I’m not justifying anything, but it’s a stark reflection on society and how we fail our youth sometimes. I read about D’Andre and Quincy and can’t fathom the pain their families are enduring. Such vibrant lives ended too soon, and it wasn’t just their loss – it was a loss to the whole community. I hope that as this investigation continues, we can find answers and ways to prevent another incident like this. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy.
